5 Mobile Apps for Allergy Sufferers

Many of us suffer from seasonal allergies.
As we make our way through spring towards a fast approaching summer, some of us struggle with allergies. Between the itchy and watery eyes, scratchy throat, and sneezing, we are willing to do anything to make them stop.

So let’s start with downloading some mobile apps – yup, you read it right. Download 5 mobile apps to help you deal with your allergies.

All of these apps are FREE and available on both the iPhone and Android mobile phones.*

1. ZocDoc
First of all, you’re going to need to see a doctor to get some medicine for these itchy eyes – downloading ZocDoc will allow you to find the nearest allergist, see available appointments, and the best part, make your appointment straight from your mobile phone. This app isn’t just for finding allergists. It can be used to find any medical professional or specialist.

2. RxmindMe Prescription/Medicine Reminder
Now that you’ve seen the doctor, you are going to need to remain consistent in your allergy medicine regimen. RxmindMe is a great mobile application that allows you to set reminders and even take pictures of your medicines so you don’t get anything mixed up. *Only available on the iPhone at this time.

3. AroundMe
Around me is a great application that is available for FREE on the iPhone and Android. It allows you to search for the nearest pharmacy. But like the rest of these awesome apps, it’s not just for managing your allergies. You can also search for the nearest restaurants, pubs, parking, movie theaters, hotels, etc.

4. Allergy Track
If you want to track how your symptoms are actually affecting you, downloading this app can help you track this information. You can see when you actually start feeling better, when you start feeling worse, and you can take this information into your next doctor’s appointment.

5. Allergy Advisor
Allergy sufferers can check their local weather and pollen forecasts. It also acts like Allergy Track. You can track your symptoms overtime using Allergy Advisor.
